Royal American International School (RAIS), Established in 2010, was recognized by Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, located in the centre of Siem Reap City, is an independent, co-educational day school offering an American based curriculum for preschool through Kindergarten to Grade K 1-12. RAIS equipped by modern materials and particularly with more professional teacher (Khmers and Foreigners).

VISION of Royal American International School

Royal American International School (RAIS) will become the school which has the high quality of education in accordance with the national and international standards.

Students who graduated from Royal American International School (RAIS) have enough abilities in mental ability, general knowledge, English, Computer, Science, techniques and specific skills to challenge into both local and international labor markets successfully, in accordance with RAIS’s slogan: "Educating to Excellence"

MISSION of Royal American International School

To achieve the vision above, the RAIS has set the mission to improve the educational field by offering the important life skills to the students proficiently such as analyzing, thinking, reading, writing, speaking, and being self-confidence in their study through the 3 main programs:

1. General Education- starts from grade 1 to 12.
2. GEP (General English Program)- starts from Pre-school to level 12.
3. Computer Training Course.

All subjects have been taught by teachers and lecturers who graduated and had enough experience in teaching. One room is limited only 16 to 20 students.

The management is well structured from top level to low level.

GOALS of Royal American International School

With clear vision and defined mission for the improvement of the quality of education, we strongly believe that the students who graduated from Royal American International School will gain the high quality of education in accordance with national and international standards.

When the students finish their studies from RAIS, they will become good citizens and leaders with high morality, virtues, and full of ability in general knowledge, English, computer and specific skills and they can use their abilities effectively to face the challenge in both national and international labor markets in accordance with RAIS’s motto: '' Quality, Efficiency, Excellence, Morality, and Virtue''.

RAIS OBJECTIVE

RAIS targets to provide children with a distinctive Education, effective, and meaningful ones for all its students. As we endeavor to achieve our objectives through the following procedures:

- Developing responsibilities orientations of our children within the education frame work.

- Providing the most levels of efforts in order to develop the potential academic achievements.

- Providing a huge number of experiences and testimonies inside and outside curriculums.

- Developing and training students as responsible ones to raise them up to become having self confidence, having forgiveness senses and having concerns on Education.

- Concern mainly on sports as a basic element in the Educational processes.

- The basis of achieving these goals are incorporation among students, parents and school stuff, in order to let everyone work toward achieving and accomplishing the above mentioned objectives

1- KHMER GENERAL EDUCATION

Education is a key to open a modern world with full of potentiality of development and a treasure that every human being needs compulsively in achieving comfortable living standards with excellence, peace, freedom and social justice. Apparently, learning is a lifelong process – learning more and more, learning without any ending, and the knowledge that results from those studies is the most priceless human resource for developing the nation and rapidly reaching the movement of globalization around the world at the present time. The Royal Government of Cambodia led by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia has set out the Rectangular strategy for Growth employment, Equity, and Efficiency in Cambodia for Capacity Building and Human Resources Development. With strong commitment and high attention on educating to excellence for Khmer General Education has been established, and all learners have been encouraged to practice good activities that are beneficial to themselves, their families, and their nation through providing highly effective education for participating and responding to the Royal Government of Cambodia, which is focusing on strengthening the quality of education, and has regarded the educational field to be a prior field for the development of the country.

2- FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROGRAM

Base on current job market demands and the students’ necessary English requirements as well as help students use English fluently and accurately with the international standard.

Royal American International School (RAIS) has been founded and opened all levels of FLP or GEP (General English Program) started from Pre-school to Level 12 (High advance level) to help students to have enough abilities and fluency in using English internationally and they get success in their tasks in both local and overseas countries.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROGRAM VISION

Royal American International School will become the one of Foreign Language Programs Training in Cambodia, which is nationally and internationally recognized. Students who study English (GEP) from Pre-school to High Advanced Level at Royal American International School (RAIS) will have enough abilities for using English in communications fluently such as: Listening, Speaking, Writing, and Reading with the correct vocabularies, sentence structures, and grammar in accordance with RAIS’s slogan “Educating to Excellence”.

3- COMPUTER TRAINING

Computer Training Course is a training course specializing in computer application, which has over 36 popular programs acceptable in the labor market. Flexible times are available for students to choose; especially, they can work with qualified Master and Bachelor instructors.

All teachers at Royal American International School (RAIS) are qualified for teaching. They were holding Bachelor Degree of Information Technology and some of them are pursuing their Master Degrees. They are all patient, creative, talented and have earned years of Experiences in teaching children.

Each classroom is equipped with Camera to keep in touch with students’ activities and teachers’ teaching.

Every computer was equipped with the modern LCD and very easy to use with high capacity of CPU and RAM to work on the computer like Designing Program, Video editing Program…

Students can choose their favorite programs from 36 popular programs to prepare for the present labor market.

Every Student who study computer at Royal American International School (RAIS), he/she is provide free Internet and E-mail.
