For an even deeper experience of peace, welcome to the Meditation Hut, located in a secluded corner of the garden surrounded by song birds. Relax and enjoy a dinner under the stars with traditional Cambodian chapei music on Thursday evenings or join the kids for a dance on Saturday nights or bring your own kids to enjoy the swings, a sand pit and values-based board games.
Community programs available include meditation, yoga, pilates, monk chat, consciousness raising movies. We also provide information on many NGOs, responsible volunteering and eco friendly tours.
As a sustainable social enterprise, our philosophy is not only to nourish the body and soul of our customers, but to also provide a variety of services and contribute to the existence of all whom we share the planet with. Whilst enjoying our healthy vegetarian dishes, at the same time we hope to raise awareness of the many reasons why a vegetarian diet may be beneficial. See section of Vegetarian for more details.
We are trying to be responsible by giving back to the planet earth in as many ways we can. Eco training is provided for Khmer people as well as workshops in permaculture practises. Learn the traditional Khmer method of making bean sprouts and bamboo rice and marvel at all the fragrant local herbs and fruit trees in our garden.
Believing that English alone does not create and sustain employment, we support a program called Living Values Education which is an international value-based education program aimed at providing guiding tools and principles to develop the whole person physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
