Hotel Policies

Children at the Sofitel

The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however additional fees will be charged if parents require a roll away bed or cot.

For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Please note that the compulsory Gala Dinner on the night of the 31st December 2012, priced at USD 165.0 per person per meal (50% discount for children aged 12 years and below). Rate is subject to 5% service charge and 10% government tax, total 15.5%. 

Children and extra beds:

- Children under 13 stay for free if using existing bedding. 
- Children aged 13 or over must use an extra bed.
