Day 2: Angkor Discovery
After breakfast, begin your full-day exploration of the Angkor temples. Enter Angkor Thom through the South Gate to see Bayon Temple with its serene stone faces, then visit Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to Ta Prohm, famous for giant tree roots intertwined with ancient ruins. Day 4: Transfer to Phnom Penh & Sunset Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to the bus station for your journey to Phnom Penh (around 6 hours, with optional flight or private car available). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and rest. In the late afternoon, visit Wat Phnom, the legendary pagoda where the city was founded, then continue to the riverside for a sunset boat cruise along the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers with a welcome drink. Dinner will be served at a riverside restaurant with beautiful views. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 5: Phnom Penh Highlights & Departure
This morning begins with a visit to the Independent Monument, followed by a guided tour of Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) to learn about Cambodia’s tragic past. Continue to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, home to Cambodian kings and treasures, before visiting the National Museum, which houses the world’s largest collection of Khmer artifacts. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute shopping at the Russian Market before your transfer to the airport for departure.
