Day 1 Arrival in Siem Reap

Day 2 Angkor Temples Discovery & Bakheng Temple Sunset

After breakfast, begin your journey into the ancient city of Angkor Thom through its majestic South Gate, topped with four giant stone faces. Explore the fascinating Bayon Temple with its more than 200 smiling faces, then continue to see Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of the Elephants.

Next, visit the iconic Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots intertwine with temple walls — a scene made famous by the film Tomb Raider.

After enjoying a Khmer set lunch near the temples, spend the afternoon exploring the world’s largest religious monument, Angkor Wat. Your guide will share the incredible history, architecture, and carvings of this UNESCO World Heritage site, one of Asia’s greatest treasures.

As evening approaches, watching the sunset from Bakheng Mountain is unforgettable. As the sky turns shades of orange and pink, the light slowly fades over the Angkor temples and the surrounding jungle. The view feels peaceful and magical, leaving you with a quiet sense of wonder.

Day 3 Tonle Sap Lake, Local Market & Apsara Show

Start the day with a visit to a countryside market before heading to Kompong Phluk, a unique floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. A boat ride will take you past stilt houses, floating shops, and fishing activities, giving you a glimpse of daily life on the water. Switch to a small canoe to glide through the mangroves, where you might spot waterbirds and capture stunning photos. The trip continues to the vast lake itself, where your guide explains the rich ecosystem and biosphere of Tonle Sap.

Return to Siem Reap for a delicious Khmer lunch, then visit the Artisan Angkor workshop to see skilled artisans creating wood carvings, stone sculptures, and silk products. Later, browse Siem Reap’s Old Market for local crafts, fabrics, and souvenirs, and take a stroll around the Royal Residence Garden.

In the evening, enjoy dinner while watching a traditional Apsara dance performance, a perfect blend of culture and cuisine.

After breakfast, begin with a photo stop at the Independent Monument before visiting two of Cambodia’s most sobering sites: Choeung Ek Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21). These memorials honor the victims of the Khmer Rouge and offer insight into the country’s tragic past.

Next, browse the bustling Russian Market, known for its fabrics, handicrafts, and jewelry. Lunch by your own at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, tour the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, where over 5,000 solid silver tiles cover the floor. Continue to the National Museum, home to the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculptures and artifacts, before finishing at Wat Phnom, the symbolic founding place of the city.
