This 20-day trip covers most of our current birdwatching sites in Cambodia! By opting this package, you could contribute more to conservation projects we are implementing together with the Ministry of Environment and our local community partners across landscapes. This itinerary covers around 400+ species of the total 602 species lead by a professional senior guide who has full experience in leading birdwatching tours across the country and Southeast Asia.
The highlight iconic species are: Milky Stork, Greater and Lesser Adjutants, Grey-headed fish-eagle, Painted Stork, Black-necked Stork, Sarus Crane, Manchurian Reed-Warbler, Bar-bellied Pitta, Oriental Bay-Owl, Brown Prinia, Giant Ibis, White-shouldered Ibis, Great-slaty Woodpecker, White-bellied Woodpecker, Black-headed Woodpecker, Yellow-crowned Woodpecker, Spotted Wood-Owl, Brown Wood-Owl, Greater and Lesser Yellownapes, Greater and Common Flamebacks, Savanna Nightjar, Great-eared Nightjar, Indian Nightjar, Black Stork, White-winged Duck, Green Peafowl, Silver Broadbill, Siamese Fireback, Scaly-breasted Partridge, Bar-backed Partridge, Blue Pitta, 3 species of resident vultures, Mekong Wagtail, Asian Golden Weaver, Maroon Oriole, Grey-faced Tit-Babbler, Red-vented Barbet, Rufous Woodpecker, Pale-capped Pigeon, Cambodian Tailorbird, Chestnut-headed Partridge and many other not-mentioned species. Besides birds you may also experience Angkorian temples of Khmer arts and an unrecorded life of people on the floating villages in Tonle Sap – the biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia and the greatest waterbird breeding colony in Asia, designated as a Ramsar site in 2015 after a recognition by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve of Tonle Sap.
