ANGKOR WAT

We offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy two different types of experience at Angkor Archeological Park. Our journey takes you to the famous temple of Angkor Wat, to the Bayon Temple at Angkor Thom. We will also see Ta Prohm Temple, with trees growing through the ancient ruins. Learn about the history of Angkor and about the carvings that adorn the walls of these historic monuments, as we make our journey through this historic site. We also go on a bird watching excursion in the surrounding woods. This is a tour combining of some of Angkor’s historic temples, with birdwatching in the surrounding forest.

Angkor Wat Birds & Tour
We hope to find the birds of Angkor Wat includes Hainan Blue, Taiga and Asian Brown Flycatchers, Forest Wagtail, White-throated Rock Thrush, Black-capped Kingfisher, Asian Barred Owlet, Black Baza, Alexandrine, and Red-breasted Parakeets.  See our temple bird checklist for Angkor Wat

Day Trip to Angkor Wat temple complex for birding and temples

• 5.30am CBGA bird guide and our driver will pick you up from your Siem Reap hotel.
• 6.00am – 9.00am we will spend time at Angkor Wat temple.
• 9 am – 12 pm we will explore Angkor Thom – Bayon, terrace of the Elephant and Leaper King
• 12.30pm have lunch near the temple area
• 2 continue to Ta-phrom temple and others
• 5.00pm finish the tour, the guide and driver will either take you back to your hotel or to another destination of your choice in the town
