We start with the visit of the Royal Palace (where the King lives) and continue with an important and awful historical part of Cambodia, the Toul Sleng prison and the Killing Fields. At lunchtime we head to the restaurant Hagar managed by a local NGO for our lunch. Later in the evening, we end the day enjoying the sunset at the cruise on the Mekong with some drinks and snacks.

Day 6: Our Kampot Pepper (180 km.)

In the morning we leave the busy city of Phnom Penh to Kampot which is known for the famous Kampot pepper. Experience the Champagne under the pepper and learn more about the process in a farm. Day 9: Koh Kong – Veal Veng (150 km.)

Today we have our KINGS ETAPPA, which is an incredible ride through the Cardamom Mountains. You will see a lot of extraordinary views. We start with the concrete roads (because of the three dams) but then we go off road and it becomes adventures. Let the Jeep work for you: we go through water pounds, over small wooden bridges and bumpy roads. On the arrival in Veal Veng an exclusive BBQ is waiting for you and in the end of the day, you will know why we call it KINGS ETAPPA.

Day 10: Veal Veng – Battambang (220 km.)

Day 11: Battambang

The morning starts with a ride on the famous bamboo train. The bamboo train is a 2.5m x 4m raft-like device that is made from bamboo for local villagers to transport their goods. This is a very unique and fun ride that you must experience while staying in Battambang! In the late afternoon you will see the millions of bats which are leaving the cave around sunset. We will be able to look over all of Battambang and enjoy the vast and beautiful scenery. In between there is time for having lunch and a swim in the resort.

Day 13: Angkor Wat complex

You make a tour to the ancient temples of Angkor Wat by jeep. An English speaking guide will take you through the enormous park along the majestic structures and stop at several of them for a visit. The world heritage temple originates from the 12th century and is an experience of mystique and beautiful sculptures. First, we will visit Angkor Wat itself and walk between the remains of one of the most important of the no less than 110 temples. A short drive takes us to Angkor Thom, which consists of, among others, the 12th century Bayon temple. The 54 four-headed Buddha statues are one of the most impressive sights of the temple complex. Later today, we will visit the Ta Phrom temple. This is one of the few temples that have been kept in its original state. This temple is famous because part of the movie Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie was shot here.

During a farewell dinner, we share our last night, the experiences about this journey and for sure we will ask you about the one thing that you will keep in mind. We can promise that you come up with at least 5 things.

Day 14: Departure day

The tour comes to an end, we have to say goodbye, but the memory will last forever. Enjoy your ride to the airport, having a last good look at the wonderful country you have enjoyed for the past 14 days. We hope you have enjoyed your stay with Cambodian Travel Partner and hope to see you in our country very soon!
